Description

The Street Lighting Division of Public works began converting the City's streetlights to more cost efficient and environmentally friendly Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology in the fall of 2010. The LED lights last longer, reduce carbon emissions and energy use by 60 percent, and provide a more targeted light to the streets. This is a legacy dataset containing details on LED retrofitted streetlights, including their locations, date of replacement, cost savings per year, and more.
